Wonderful! Watching this series without the commercial interuptions is such a pleasure. I was surprised at how many episodes I had missed over the years, so watching from very beginning has be so entertaining. Looking forward to hours and hours of excellent viewing. Highly recommend.

Great Way to watch a Great Show January 9, 2007

This is all I expected it to be and more. Being able to watch this amazing show from beginning to end with no commercials is exactly the way it should be done.

The bonus features are great, but seeing the show and characters evolve without having to wait another week is great.

I definitely recommend this set for any true fan of the show. I onnly wish they had kept in on since the last season was one of the best.

Well-done collection of good political drama January 9, 2007

Political drama isn't one of my interests, but the West Wing's complex personal relationships make it worth watching. The first three seasons are excellent; five star material. The last two seasons are decent, but not great. But the entire collection is superb because the characters grow and change. After watching the entire series straight through in three weeks, I went back and watched the first and last episode of the season, just to compare CJ and Toby. I've also made notes on favorite episodes in the episode guide so I can find particular scenes quickly. The set is well-designed; each season's DVDs are collected in a folder with the episode guide and book of selected scripts tucked in the back; the entire box fits my shelves neatly.
