Customer Reviews: Read 19 more reviews... Not bad for the price October 23, 2008 As an avid civil war reader I was a little disappointed at the amount of really new material. Most of the stories will be familiar to civil war buffs. I agree with the reviewer who mentioned the story of the Rains brother as a notable exception to this. That was truly a fascinating story, and one I was not aware of until I read it in this book. Civil War trivia August 18, 2008 It's okay... I think it has a lot of "filler" in it. A classic January 25, 2008 This book is a must for Civil War buffs, presenting lots of odd facts about the War Between the States which one would probably not come across except in bits and pieces in other works. I never get tired of looking through this one.
